Introduction
Building on the resounding success of the 2024 and 2025 editions, which saw increased participation, inspiring winner stories, and greater visibility for the sector, the Social Enterprise Awards 2026 marks the third edition. This year’s program continues to grow in stature and influence, showcasing how social enterprises are driving sustainable development, creating jobs, and delivering solutions where they matter most.
The awards ceremony will be held on 20th November 2026, on the Social Enterprise Day, a global occasion dedicated to raising the profile of the social enterprise movement. As Uganda’s social enterprise sector matures, the third edition seeks to deepen recognition of excellence, encourage scalability and resilience, and foster collective impact.
